Information about other hobbies I love

Although it is partly related to radio, technology and electronics, another of my great hobbies is sound, and in particular, music.

Sound

Teaming up with the mynoise.net website creator, I made the recordings that you can listen to in this thematic sound player dedicated to Amateur Radio:

Music

I love music.
Especially instrumental music made with synthesizers; whether in the sense of listening to it (via - coincidence? - Kenwood HI-FI amplfiers), playing it , creating a melody, or simply experimenting (messing around with some DAW, VST instruments, MIDI keyboards and controllers).

An example of the latter is Borealis, a Space music suite.

The suite is divided into two parts, each one containing a number of chapters.
A sci-fi short story is narrated through these chapters, corresponding to the landscape and feeling that the music wants to inspire; the story of the Hipparchus spacecraft, its crew and the missions they took part on.

Each chapter consists of:

  • A musical theme.

  • A text chapter

  • Artwork (3D images, fractals, videos, GIFs...)
